S.ilverstone - Fabio Quartararo goes strong, is the fasterbut on the pace, the Aprilia riders are in pretty good shapein particular Maverick Vinalesthird, but also Aleix Espargarofifth, has a good consistency.

It is the synthesis of FP2: the House of Noale he is trying to build something importantwhile Quartararo tries to stay ahead, knowing that he will have to carry out the "long lap penalty": in the simulations carried out during free practice sessions, the Yamaha rider it lost just over a second.

But in the race, of course, it will be much worse, because after serving the penalty he will find himself behind several pilots. He, however, has the pace to do well and also the flying lap: for the moment, he is doing the best that is in his ability.

    Beware of Suzuki

TOl second place a convincing Joan Mir: convincing, because he was the protagonist of a very positive session, only to be able to take advantage of the new tires at the end.

Almost unprecedented for him, but the truth is that at Silverstone Suzuki seems to be super effective again - in reality it always has been, but in previous races it has collected little, especially for the performance of its two riders -, with Alex Rins seventh at 0 "300. Speaking of gaps: the first ten are enclosed in 0 ”432.

    Aprilia daydreams

M.a la great protagonist of the session was theApriliathird with Maverick Vinales (all to listen to the dedicated podcast to the Spanish pilot, on moto.it starting Sunday) and fifth with Aleix Espargaroboth very effective for the entire shift.

There is great motivation in the Noale garage, as it should be: the riders are in good shape and the RS-GP is super competitive. Everyone is convinced that they can do well and that is right: the premises are really encouraging.

    Ducati, another Dall'Igna devilry

Lthe best Ducati is that of Johann Zarcofourth with an excellent lap in the final after working only for the race, while Enea Bastianini is eighth: the Team Gresini rider led to his debut, together with Jorge Martin (13th) yet another aerodynamic devilry born from the mind of Gigi Dall'Igna: two fins on the rear tail (the detail of the photo in the live or below).

The pilots will tell us if they have heard benefits, in the meantime it is nice to see Bastianini momentarily in the ten. And instead only 11th Francesco Bagnaiawho in the end did not find the right flash to get a good time trial.

It is not scheduled for tomorrow rain, so Pecco has every chance to enter Q2 directly. The impression, however, is that Ducati is also competitive on this track, but less explosive than on other occasions.

KTM with the exhaust seen in Jerez

M.iguel Oliveira takes the KTM to sixth place using the long exhaust seen in the May tests at Jerez: in FP1 it was already fitted by Brad Binder, far behind in this session. The best Honda is that of Alex Marquez, only 14th.

    The 10 in Q2

Andcco the 10 drivers currently in Q2: Quartararo, Mir, Vinales, Zarco, A.Espargaro Oliveira, Rins, Bastianini, Miller (who crashed without consequences) and Bezzecchi.
