S.ilverstone - There is a beautiful sun at Silverstone, with a temperature higher than yesterday: we are around 24 ° C. There challenge it's all in between Aprilia and Ducati: the two Italian houses monopolize the top five.
In the end, with a time of 1'58 ”254, the fastest is Aleix Espargarowith an advantage of 0 ”028 on Jorge Martin0 "078 up Jack Miller0 "090 up Johann Zarco (crashed in the final while he had a red helmet in T2), 0 ”321 up Maverick Vinales. Four drivers less than a tenth, therefore: a challenge of very high level for pole.
The bike from Noale is confirmed as competitive with both pilots: then we will analyze the steps in detail, but both Aleix and Maverick (very beautiful to see from the edge of the track) have a great pace. In summary: they can be played both pole and race. At least for now.
Espargaro and Bagnaia are sent to that country
No.el final, while Francesco Bagnaia was shootinghe found Aleix Espargaro on his way who, in truth, was all external, he could not go further: Bagnaia however had to sink the braking anomalously, breaking up the bike and losing the good lap. Pecco didn't take it well and sent blatantly to that country the rival of Aprilia, who returned the courtesy.
Nothing special, normal nervousness in a delicate moment: my opinion is that Bagnaia took it too hardEspargaro did not do any unfairness. Bagnaia then made another tight lap, improving himself.
More competitive Ducati
R.compared to yesterday, Ducati did globally a step forwardwith five drivers in the top ten: Bagnaia is seventh and Marino ninth, back to his levels: good Luca. Unfortunately, Marco Bezzecchi and Enea Bastianini remain out of the ten, the only one to have used the new fins on the tail today.
For Aeneas one step back and the risk of moving into Q1.
Quartararo holds its own, Suzuki is there
THEThe world champion defends himself as best he can with his Yamaha: sixth place is not greatbut the step is good to play it. Also in FP3, Quartararo tried a "long lap penalty": the waste of time is very low (about 0 "8) compared to other tracks.
Even the Suzuki are strong: Mir is eighth and Rins tenth. Both, therefore, are already in Q2: a rarity. They can do well. Honda and KTM out of 10.
The 10 in Q2
Andcco the ten riders in Q2: A.Espargaro, Martin, Miller, Zarco, Vinales, Quartararo, Bagnaia, Mir, Marini, Rins.
